Organisations must gain approval from ProQual to become a ProQual approved centre before they can offer any ProQual qualifications. Approval must be gained for each qualification that a centre wishes to offer.
Prospective centres must:
- Have a single named point of accountability for quality assurance, this should be a named Head of Centre who should have a named centre coordinator.
- Provide guidance, information and support for candidates wishing to undertake vocational qualifications.
- Plan and review the delivery of qualifications.
- Have appropriate resources – human, administrative and technical.
- Have access to expertise in the field covered by the qualifications.
- Have an understanding of assessment, using a range of valid and reliable methods.
- Have rigorous quality assurance procedures.
- Have a commitment to equal opportunities and access to assessment.
Our Process
Our ProQual NVQs provide nationally recognised qualifications for senior managers in the construction industry working in a wide range of job roles.
The awarding body for all our qualifications is ProQual (www.proqualab.com) and the regulatory body is the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual).
Our qualifications have been accredited onto the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF).
Each qualification is internally assessed and verified by centre staff and External quality assurance is completed by ProQual verifiers.
Assessors delivering qualifications must be appropriately qualified and/or occupationally competent.
Qualifications are competence-based, candidates must demonstrate the level of competence described in the units.
Assessment is the process of measuring a candidate’s skill, knowledge and understanding against the standards set in the qualification.
Evidence can include:

- Professional discussions
- Witness testimony

- Record of oral and written questioning

In the unlikely event of any data loss, this keeps qualifications safe from disruption and learners protected from losing their hard work.
Servers are also paired with identical servers on a backup SAN, with automated switching. If anything happens to any of the servers, applications will be switched to the backup within seconds while technicians resolve the issue.

Bundle - MCIOB PR combined with NVQ Level 7 Diploma in Construction Senior
£1900 + VAT
This NVQ qualifies you towards accessing the black CSCS Card or Black CCDO card, or both dependent on your background, experience and industry sector.
Your assessor is a Chartered Construction Manager and CIOB Mentor. AYP are CIOB PR Support Providers, you can move on to your professional review with us directly, post NVQ completion.
Your AYP Assessor can support you through MCIOB and CEnv.
NVQ Level 7 Diploma in Construction Senior Management
£1600 + VAT
This NVQ qualifies you towards accessing the black CSCS Card or Black CCDO card, or both dependent on your background, experience and industry sector.
Your assessor is a Chartered Construction Manager and CIOB Mentor, therefore, upon completion, you are eligible to the shortened pathway to MCIOB.
You can also become a Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv), but first you must be a Chartered Member or Fellow of CIOB before you can apply.
Your AYP Assessor can support you through MCIOB and CEnv.
NVQ Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Health & Safety Leadership and Management
£1600 + VAT
This NVQ qualifies you towards accessing the black CSCS Card.
This NVQ qualifies you to apply for Cert IOSH and then progress through the IPD route to chartered.
Your assessor is a Chartered Occupational Heath & Safety practitioner with IOSH, therefore, guidance on your road map to CMIOSH can also be provided.
NVQ Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Practice
£1500 + VAT
This NVQ qualifies you towards accessing the black CSCS Card.
This NVQ qualifies you to apply for Cert IOSH and then progress through the IPD route to chartered.
Your assessor is a Chartered Occupational Heath & Safety practitioner with IOSH, therefore, guidance on your road map to CMIOSH can also be provided.
