Internal Quality Assurance

 IQAs for ProQual centres are required to carry out the following duties:

• Ensure the internal quality assurance practices and procedures are being  applied in line with ProQual requirements.  

• Advise and support assessors and candidates, when appropriate.  

• Ensure that training needs of the candidate have been identified where  appropriate via checking the skills scan completed by the assessor at  induction. 

• Ensure the standardisation of assessment decisions within the centre in order  to maintain any relevant national standards.  

• Recommend improvements and amendments to the centre’s internal quality  assurance practices and procedures as and when necessary.
